Arts and Humanities Day events are held in different rooms and lecture halls of the UChicago Hyde Park campus. Each room assignment are listed next to the presentation and included in your registration confirmation email.

Public Transportation Options to the University of Chicago Campus on Saturdays
CTA Rail System
• Red and Green lines run close to campus. When using these rail lines, take the #55 CTA bus route to and from the Garfield Station. The Red and Green lines travel to the downtown Loop area, where it is easy to transfer to another train or bus.

Metra
The Metra Electric District Line runs through Hyde Park and can be accessed at several train stations and connects to several CTA bus routes.
• 59th Street Station: use CTA routes #6, #15, and #28 to go between campus and the stop
• 57th Street Station: use CTA routes #6, #15, and #28 to go between campus and the stop
• 55th–56th–57th Street Station: use CTA routes #6, #15, #28, #55, and #171 to go between campus and the stop
• 51st–53rd Street Station: use CTA routes #6, #15, #28, #171, and #172 to go between campus and the stop

South Shore Line (Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District)
This commuter rail line provides service between the South Bend (Indiana) Airport and Millennium Station in downtown Chicago. To access campus, use the 57th Street Metra station.

CTA Buses
Several CTA buses serve the University of Chicago campus.
• #6 Jackson Park Express: must transfer to CTA #171 at the intersection of South Hyde Park Boulevard and 53rd Street; operates daily.
• #15 Jeffery Local: operates daily from 5 a.m. to 1:18 a.m.
• #28 Stony Island: must transfer to CTA #172 at the intersection of East Hyde Park Boulevard (51st Street) and Lake Park Avenue; operates daily.
• #55 Garfield: if traveling on the Green and Red lines, use this bus to get to and from campus; operates daily.

Free Street Parking and Paid Parking
Free parking is available on many streets around UChicago. Most University parking lots are free to the public after 4:00 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. Please be sure to observe all posted regulations.
There are also multiple paid parking structures on campus, the largest of which are at 55th and Ellis; S. Drexel Avenue, one half-block south of E. 60th Street ;and the Kimbark South Parking Garage.
